Career & Technical Education / Transitional Living Program

Our licensed CTE staff offer hands-on courses to help students explore vocational paths and graduate with a solid plan. Each program includes a sequence of classes designed to build skills in a chosen field.

Students may also take local career-focused courses with full accommodations at:

  • Illinois School for the Visually Impaired

  • Lincoln Land Community College

 

Student Work Experience Opportunities

We prepare students for the real world through training in:

  • budgeting and banking

  • job readiness and mock interviews

Work-based options include:

  • Off-campus work during the school day – earn credit and a stipend

  • After-school jobs – earn a paycheck

  • Job shadowing – get a close-up look at careers

  • Mock interviews – practice and polish skills
